When I got my first papillon I decided to compete in junior handling after my best friend who was a junior handler told me about it and how fun it was. And I liked it too, very much. I competed with Hera for the first time, she was a young bitch and we did pretty fine but were not placed. Hera died the day before our next competition was going to take place. We have only three shows every year so because of my age I only competed four more times, two times with Bíbí, Hera's littermate, the second time placed fourth. Then I also competed two times with my friends tibetan spaniel bitch, Flórens and we were placed fourth both times. |

After I became too old to participate in junior handling, I, my best friend Auður Sif, and three other friends, Helga Dögg, Steinunn and Svava founded the junior club within the Icelandic kennel club. Auður Sif, Steinunn and Helga Dögg have all competed in the junior handlers finals at crufts. So we started to train the other junior handlers but I stopped of course when I moved to Denmark but I´m sure I will be back when I move to Iceland again. |

I have handled few breeds for others like cavalier, tibetan spaniel, labrador retriever, french bulldog and of course papillons. In the summer 2004 me and my friend Auður Sif worked as kennel girls at kennel Punapaulan in Finland were I handled afghans and dwarf poodles. Well I got my own afghan from there and have been handling him a bit since.
